“I like our depth,” Frazier said. “This is the best quality depth that I can remember in a number of years.
    Really?

I wonder what number he has in mind when talking years?

Considering they may have had the worst secondary in NFL history last year it shouldn't be too hard to get deeper. But the talent still only looks ankle deep to me.

I think the only thing that is deep with Frazier is the BS he is spewing about our secondary. They look worse than last year.

I don't know, I saw some nice things out of our DB's against the JAGs. Truth is I saw alot more than I saw bad.

Seriously, the only real open reciever in the endzone was the one Whinny let walk right in. The other was a TE who completely faked out the LB'rs, not the DB's.
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/josdin00/Vikings/Marrdro_sig.jpg

On paper, we actually look not bad.

Winfield: Best tackling CB in the league, solid veteran starter
Cook: Wildly athletic, has shut down the likes of Calvin Johnson
Robinson: Super fast rookie, shows great upside
Bowman: Starter for a number of years
Burton: Second year guy who shows good upside, needs a little while to catch up with the game
Sherels: Mainly a return guy, fast and has all the physical tools

Now, look at it in reality:

Winfield: Old, declining, hasn't played a full season in a few years now
Cook: Inconsistent, hopefully will stay out of trouble, but might be our best corner
Robinson: A rookie, needs far more than a preseason and 1 game to get up to game speed
Bowman: Was cut for a reason. Managed to beat out the likes of Chris Carr, so that's good I guess?
Burton: Despite upside, hasn't actually played all that well.
Sherels: Good thing is, he doesn't get on the field that much.
