I would like to see some blitzes. I don't remember seeing the lack of pressure on the opposing QB like we did this year.

I hope Fraizer does well. But remember last year that the "dig" against the Colt's was their defense. They sure stepped it up in the playoffs though.

Yeah, lets root for the future Vikings by rooting for the Eagles...geesh

It's not THAT big of a deal! The Eagles have been a whole lot better than us over the past 5 years or so, so I'll take it.

Anyway...I would like to see some blitzes too. Our front four just wasn't getting it done and QBs had way too much time to throw the ball this year. That's the biggest reason we got torched so badly!

i for one am glad that we might be able to see a more blitz happy, and more aggresive play calling on the defensive side of the ball that the iggles tend to do a very good job of.

I don't think it was how much we blitzed as what blitzes we used all we did was LB blitzes never any safety or cornerback blitzes. We would need them to be more unpredictable but I don't know if we have any safties or corners that can be good at it.

Keep in mind, he was the DB's coach for the Defense.
It was the 175 ypg in rushing that made their defense so pitiful.
Stopping the run was also a reason cited for Frazier being dismissed as the Bengal's DC.
With our core run stopping personel and Frazier's emphasis on pass defense, I think we will be in good shape.


One of the biggest things that I am hoping he will bring to the table is adjustments.
If our front four can't pressure the QB, at least he has the mind set to send some blitzes.
Frazier's experience in 4-3, 46, and T2 defenses should allow him to make adjustments both week to week and during the game for us to have some success.
That is what I am hoping for anyway

All I know is that we need to do something to get pressure on the opposing QB.. We did a horrible job of that last season, and we ended up tied with the worse Pass Defense in the league..

With the Williams boys, Udeze, and James on our line, and the LB's we have, there should be no reason why we can't pressure the QB more.. That was rough watching that last season, now I hope we fix that area of our team..
