Dropping F-bombs after the first response? Funny, I've never met a 51 year old child.

And if you don't see an issue with Simpson being named a starter (... or even Ponder for that matter), then you haven't been paying attention to details.

It's an ongoing trend that's been happening since Childress was here. Just because I pay attention doesn't mean I'm overreacting, it just means I notice trends and patterns and am able to comment on it due to my grasp of the English language.

No, I see absolutely no issue in a coach with any Team, or a manager of a large Team of people (like this 51 year old child), creating a culture where promotions are earned. That notwithstanding, it is abundantly clear that both Patterson and Wright are more capable players than Simpson,. It is also not out of the realm of possibility that Simpson, albeit the starter of games 1 and 2 of preseason games that don't count, but, do matter, may be cut. I too question Simpson's contribution, in fact, I think he sucks, and, it is just a matter of time before he is no longer a Viking.

Patterson will be a very good player for the Vikings, however, I have not been to every practice, been in every meeting room, nor studied film with him, so, I, like a child, have a certain amount of respect for the professionals who coach him. Certainly, I hope to see much more of him on the field and assume that I will when he's earned it. That said, I was disappointed last year when it took so long for Wright to be on the field, but, according to my friend in the NFL, he "wasn't ready, didn't know the play book." From a child's eye, he seemingly earned more playing time earlier.

Regarding Cassel and Ponder, they both sucked last night...but, I may have missed some of the details.

Sure glad this guy is our starter. (facepalm)

    Catches: 26
    Targets: 52
Catch %: 50% (second lowest on team after Stephen Burton... who caught 5 out of 11 targets)
    Yards: 274
    TDs: 0
    Fumbles: 2
    Fum lost: 1
Only 4 of those 52 targets were actually dropped passes (AD dropped 3 out of 51 targets). That speaks more to how many bad passes Ponder threw his way, than how bad a WR he is.

His 7.69% drop % puts him in the same range with Cruz & Gronk.

Some details to consider, Cassel played behind a pathetic OL.

Blaine Gabbert: 4-4, 73 yards and a TD. Mark Sanchez: 3-3, 48 yards and a TD on their opening drives... What the fuck is wrong with you Ponder?

Just read your post. I saw nothing about Cassel playing behind a pathetic OL compared to the guys Ponder played behind. Starters vs backups. That is reality.
