Frazier 'begging' for fan support
Frazier 'begging' for fan support
Sad day to be a Vikings fan my friends when a HC feels he needs to "Beg" his fans for support.
I don't know what is worse for me this year.......
a. The Noodle is still a Viking.
b. We are having a loosing season.
c. My bubble has been burst and the curtain has been pulled back about the fanbase.
Truth of the matter is, item C started happening a couple years ago, but up until this year I still believed we had the best fanbase in the league.
Not so anymore my friends. Not so anymore.
I for one, hope they come out in droves and cheer louder than any fans ever and prove me wrong. Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.

There are lots of tickets available for this game as there will be the rest of the season.

Wish I wasn't so broke. I'd be up there in a tic.

Re: Frazier 'begging' for fan support
We are 4-7 and made a coaching change halfway through the year. Hate to break it to you, but that would have an impact on any team's fan base.

I actually won't be there for the remaining 3 games. I rarely travel in December because of the dicey weather conditions. But I have Vikings fans using my seats each game.Zeus wrote:
When are you going to realize that picking out the 20 bad throws this year and ignoring the 300 good ones does not make your point?

Its more than just that NP. For me my bubble was popped when I heard the booing in the Indy game when the team was ahead.

Problem is, I didn't hear him. I read what he said. Are you now telling me that the hack put a spin on what he said?

Re: Frazier 'begging' for fan support
Fans are what they are. Look around the stands carefully.
It's a circus at best, a zoo at worst. There are some nice people......and then there are many troubled people acting out some profound issues.
You are SURPRISED when they boo???
I have to laugh. Many of them probably watch pro wrestling.
So do not be shocked if they lack character and loyalty and quickly cry out for the blood of anyone who dares disappoint them after they paid too much for a ticket to watch the gladiators.
It's a crazy business and "Fan" is the abbreviated version of "Fanatic."
I did see an encouraging line in the article.
This is exactly where Childress failed and it looks like Frazier gets it.Frazier said being able to manage players on an individual basis is a critical part of the job.
That bodes well for the future. It's what you learn after you know it all that counts.
