Not sure how I feel about this, but I guess he's earned it.

A year ago, there were reasonable doubts about Vikings head coach Leslie Frazier’s future.
But after he piloted the Vikings to a 10-6 record and the playoffs, he earned the right to stay.

I like picking up the option. I wouldn't sign him long term until the mid point of his contract season.
I'll never forget that he's a Childress hire.

Yup, and just like Childress, he's ridden Adrian Peterson to the bank. Problem is, just like Childress, he's failed to do anything to significantly improve the REST of the Offense....
Until we get a Coach that realizes that AP alone will make us appear competitive but can't win it all, we're screwed.

This was the right move, was not happy with the first report. Why would they re-right a contract that still had 2 years on it.
