On one hand the rules of the league are tilted to offense and while teams do win a SB here and there based on superior defense,the teams that are competing consistently year after year are the ones that have a frachise qb and a great offense.

That being said coaches like dungy,tomlin and belechik all came from defense backgrounds but what makes them successful is that they are great managers of talent. Hopefully Frazier is a great manager of talent.
Can't manage talent if the GM doesn't give it to you first though.
