Fox Sucks
I was excited today. I was going to get to watch the vikings for one of the few times this year. and then fox decided in the middle of the third quarter to switch me to the eagles game because it was "more competitive." I wanted to watch the vikes. i was pissed. I turned off the TV at that point. Not that my single contribution will hurt fox.oh well

VikesFan787, Thanks for the awesome sig!

Re: Fox Sucks
Yeah man... I was pretty pissed when they switched it over.
I would have gone to a bar, but instead i stayed home since they were on.
I was stuck on Gamecenter again when they dumped it.

I wish fox would have turned it off for me.

Re: Fox Sucks
It didn't switch on me.
I was kind of wishing it would have.

When are you going to realize that picking out the 20 bad throws this year and ignoring the 300 good ones does not make your point?

So, after Fox switched it was still blacked-out on the DTV channel for awhile.
Really, can you blame Fox?

Re: Fox Sucks
Yeah, come on guys, nobody likes to see a game-switch (least of all the networks) but they made the right call. Minutes after the switch Philly scored a TD to make it a very close game, meanwhile the Vikes continued to play like they belonged in NAIA Division II. What did you think you missed? Bollinger getting intercepted at the goal line? Or maybe Green Bay stuffing it down their throats? The game-switch is a harbinger of things to come. If the networks (i.e the advertisers and sponsors) tune the Vikes out, how long before the fans do the same? Wilf may not know squit about football, but he does know about making money, and while having a door-mat team may make him some bucks, a team that nobody wants to watch will not. The Vikings are at the point where few networks would want to take a risk on them (Sunday Night Football, Monday Night Football, Thanksgiving Day Football, nationally televised games, etc.). There are actually few teams that are so unloved by the network gods that they will not "risk" broadcasting their games nationally, and I suspect that the Vikes today became one of them

Re: Fox Sucks
Think about it though, how pissed would you be if the score was reversed?
we were up by 30 and they switched the game?
I get to see the vikings all the time, but rarely do I get audio with it!
I was mad.

Re: Fox Sucks
I do understand, the thing that gets me is im in nfc north territory, even the bears fans will watch the pack whip us, and i only get to see the games vs. chicago and any time theres nothing else on. i wouldnt have been so bothered otherwise.
