What worries me is that Red is making about 30 million a year in profit off the Vikes, but his debt load on the Vikes is small.
Somebody buying the Vikes now (for around 600 mill) will be carrying a much larger debt load. Will they have the money to pay some good FA and keep the good players we have now? And still keep the franchise profitable? What we've got here is failure to communicate.

I say yes, because if we DO keep our key players AND sign the necessary FAs we will most likely be a very very good football team, which would allow for price raises, higher cable contracts, etc. Supply and Demand baby.

I think with a new owner this will be a very fun offseason. He may go crazy with our Fa money being a new owner. Lets see how this all plays out.

I have a feeling that no matter who takes over the ownership of the Vikes, there will be a lot of money spent on Free Agents, etc. because the new owner would want to gain the, approval of the fans and make a name for themselves.
I agree that Taylor looks like the better option because of his track record, but who knows? Maybe this Fowler guy will spend even more than Taylor most likely would. All I can say for sure is that almost anybody is better than Red (please dont jinx us!).
