Forward Latteral TD??
On the one play with the 'fumble' into the air into another WR for a eagle TD... would that be a touchdown off of a fumble, or an uncalled forward latteral?
A.) the WR took two steps before he lost the ball (possesion) along with a football move
B.) the ball went forward and never touched the ground
1. most fumble go either backwards
2. or forwards after touching the ground
so whats the call... i thought that that should have been a forward latter since it never touched the ground... not that it would have made a difference
:king:i m better than you, so just give up...

It should have been a forward latteral which
is ilegal. I demand a rematch!! I wish.Green Bay police station toilet stolen.
Cops say they have nothing to go on.

Forward Latteral TD??
I'm not one for looking back over a loss and discussing all the what if's.... but I must admit, that play bothered me greatly.
I think there should be rules to prevent things like that. Otherwise, where do you draw the line between what is intentional and what isn't.
Obviously that play was just dumb luck, and it's kind of insane to think intentionally forwarding a play by trying to make it appear as a fumble would be a lludicrous thing to do... but nonetheless, having no enforcable rule for plays like that creates a grey area of doubt where there doesn't need to be one.[img:a634b559b7]http://www.myimgs.com/data/islandercountry/bannerbbers.gif[/img:a634b559b7]

Forward Latteral TD??
It would've been a lateral had he actually thrown the ball to him. A fumble can go in any direction and be just that... a fumble.

Forward Latteral TD??
I think when they refer to a lateral, thats when the ball dows not have any forward motion.

Forward Latteral TD??
Yeah, that was a fumble, he didn't throw the ball or anything, it was popped lose and it was just luck where it happened to go.

Forward Latteral TD??
now if the player that fumbled, recovered the ball it would have come back, unless he got up and caught it in the air. if it hit the ground and rolled out of the end zone it would have been a touchback like the other one. cannot advance a fumble to the zone if you are that player. the ol fumble- ruskie play!! unless they changed it recently. but that was correct call i do believe.
