AUTOGRAPHS: Former Minnesota Vikings Oscar Reed and Ted Brown will sign autographs from 5-8 p.m. April 4 and 11 a.m.-2 p.m. April 5 at the Ames Wal-Mart Supercenter.....
Oscar Reed is a hell of a guy :) most people don't know him since he was a back up running back.. and I believe he fumbled in the Super Bowl for us.. :x but yea lol.
Him and Earsall Mackbee used to run an organization for children from the Twin Cities area and bring them down to training camp.
Oscar's a friend of my mom's so I used to get to tag along for two or three years, was pretty sweet, got to go out onto the field and get autographs and all that.
Unfortunatly when the regime changed with the ownership for some reason they don't allow him to do it anymore.
Regardless, I'm sure any of you guys that have been to training camp, he's normally at the "Vikings Alumni" tent signing autographs.
I remember Oscar, but was quite young when he played. I have at least one autographed mini helmet with his signature.
