Former top picks should boost Vikings
Sid Hartman: Former top picks should boost Vikings
The return from injury of Erasmus James and Chad Greenway, plus an improved Troy Williamson, provides reason for optimism this fall.

I think Greeway will be fine but I am still concerned about the knee of Erasmus (will he be able to be confident and aggressive?) and the probability of Troy getting it together.
I hope TWill will, because it would be such a shame for him to turn out to be a bust.
If all three come back strong and contribute it will be huge for us.I m Watching You- You may not see me, you may not hear me, but I m watching you...

There has been a string of uncharacteristically positive Vikings articles coming from Hartman lately.
It is kinda scaring me...Zeus wrote:

So their is precedent to this.Williamson, taken seventh overall, received treatment on his eyes from Alan Reichow, who works at Nike headquarters in Oregon and has helped a number of athletes with their eyesight.
I really think Oakley could have helped TWill.
Oakley has been doing prescription glasses for a little while now. Also They company don't have a set budget for its R & D.
Oakley just gives them what they want.
Good article.
I can't imagine getting these key first rounders back on the field won't help.
We will see! (no pun intended
;D)

He is actually the Director of the Sports Vision Department at Pacific University's College of Optometry.
He has pioneered several advancements in sports vision, the most well known of which is Nike's MaxSight contact lenses.
I originally laughed at the thought of Nike providing any insight into TWill's catching issues.
But the more I looked into it, the ore encouraged I am by it.Zeus wrote:

Either way I am sure it is very conducive.

I just hope that they fix whatever is wrong with TWill...he definitely has the talent to succeed...if only he could channel it correctly!
BANNED OR DEAD...I'LL TAKE EITHER ONE

If channeling is the problem maybe Miss Cleo would be a better solution.

I think Greenway will help on the defense.
Maybe James also, but this is T-will's time.
He either performs or it is time to hit the road.
Cut our losses and live with it.
Personally, I hope he has a breakout season.
I don't see it happening though.
