ONLY if he is better than our top 3 WRs that we have now...otherwise, keep what we have now so that they have time to develop.

I dont really know if i want him on our team. A couple of years ago i thought he was gonna breakout and be a good #2 WR but then he kept on getting injured. He has good speed good hands sooo....????

Who would you rather have Ferguson or Lowber?

I wouldnt mind if we got rid of McMullen for him cuz Sidney Rice could take over that red zone threat type of guy

The Vikings' largely inexperienced receiving corps could be getting a veteran addition....

Although they have a dozen receivers on the roster, the Vikings are contemplating whether to add another veteran....

All indications are that free-agent receiver Robert Ferguson boarded a plane for Houston tonight and will visit with the Texans on Monday....

My guess is if they make him an offer & it's comparable to or a little less than the Texans offer (provided they make him an offer) he will be wearing purple.

Ferguson has stated that he wants to be close to home. Supposedly, the Vikings were on his short list.

    Well said.
We need to get our young receivers some game experience.

Re: Former Packer Ferguson in Winter Park for practice

Still no word on his Madden rating.
I am a bit depressed over that.

    :

I can see the scenario now, we let WR X go to make a spot for him on the roster, he (Ferggy) is hurt almost all year, is semi productive (35-40 catches), the guy we let go does about the same or a bit better (i.e Baskett). Then the org lets him go next year........

All the while, on this site and in the press, we have Fergusson vs WR X thread/article comparisons, posters/hacks beeeyatching when we let him go next year because of injury issues/lack of productivity or saying how we shouldn't have let him go.

    Give it a rest.
Go with what we have, let them mature a bit, see what we have at the end of the year and if necessary fill the hole (if there is one) at WR with a Vet FA.

We surely don't need a broke down has been, who had potential but can't stay healthy long enough to show it anymore, on this team.
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/josdin00/Vikings/Marrdro_sig.jpg

He is the proven veteran that we need on this wr-staff.. I would like to sign him, give him a chance to stay clear of injuries and he could be a good player for our team, no doubt

Which home Green Bay or Houston?
