Not sure, way to many subjects in here to be folded into one of the other QB threads.
Besides, when you have Herm (I screw teams up) and a yutz MN Newspaper hack asking him questions, fun will ensue..... ;D

YOu think Herm messes teams up? He had the Jets playing well for several seasons( the ones when Pennington wasn't hurt) and he inherited the oldest team in the league and lost 4-5 starting OL with no one youngster to replace them. The guy got screwed!

Brad's sitting in the same seat. He's got a guy he likes (Tarvaris Jackson) and who is athletic. But is he the guy or not? I think they're still trying to figure that out. He's going to have to make some plays, especially in the offense they're trying to run. You run to win, but you pass to score.

Re: Former NFL coach Herm Edwards: Don't underestimate the importance of a good

Herm has always been a master of stating the obvious ("You play to win the game"), so this doesn't surprise me. His teams just don't improve while he's coaching. He should stick to motivational speaking.

I think he is the most overated coach in the league.

Since he's not currently coaching in the league, maybe he's not so overrated.

Re: Former NFL coach Herm Edwards: Don't underestimate the importance of a good

I guess we could ask those who were part of the 9ers in the 80's and early 90's, the Bronco's under Elway, the Cowboys under Staubach and Aikman and many other teams how important their QB was to the teams success. They might agree with Herm.

Good point, however, you still have to listen to a yutz talking head or two wonder why he isn't coaching.

Shan isn't coaching. Is he a bad coach?
