Thread: Football Pool Standings

I see that the standings in the football pool has changed the way it places you.

This contest is using a "best of" scoring concept. Final standings will be based on your best 1 weeks. The tiebreaker information is based on your complete seasons performance, only the actual win-loss record and pts are based on your best weeks data.

It used to be the actual win-loss record for the season. Its hard to complain since it moved me from 10th to 4th place but I am not sure that simply having a good week and maybe the rest of them crappy is the best way to rate your pool abilities.

What do you all think? Like it or not?

I think any change which happens in the middle of a season is crap. (And I'm now in 3rd, so I also benefited from this).

Yeah i noticed that.. i never understood how the MNF score was worked out.

I also benefited from this, but total crap I say.

It hurt me.

so I finished 173-83 but it doesn't really matter cause I didn't have a perfect week

I think it's BS. All you have to do is have one good week as the winner did last week. It really has nothing to do with your ability to pick games. In fact you could register under say 10 different names and just shotgun it until you get lucky picking upsets. It should go back to what it was, your total wins over the season.
