Without looking at other teams, I think we have plenty of chances to get flexed.

    - The Bears is a divisional matchup that could decide the NFC North
    - The Cardinals are good and playoff seeding is at stake.
    - MIN vs. CIN is an intriguing matchup between 2 dark horse SB teams.
    - Carolina is coming on strong and if they continue playoffs will be at stake.
    - New York will be scraping for playoff position and MIN could be trying to clinch home-field.

    Yup my thoughts exactly

    PLenty of flex opportunities
    Not really.
Just because we think the Vikings are a good option, the NFL/NBC might not.
Setting aside out personal bias (if you can, I know it's hard) is (IN TERMS OF MONEY AND RATINGS) CIN @ MIN a better draw than PHI @ NYG?
    Not a chance.

I just said there lies a viable option

I didn't say more so then any others

I think we will get flexed a game or 2

There are only 3 games left that have any chance of being flexed IN - @ARZ, home vs. CIN and home vs. NYG.
I've already explained why the first two are not going to happen (although, IMHO, it's more certain that the CIN game won't get moved).
Week 17 is a crapshoot - AND the NFL doesn't have to announce the Week 17 game until six days prior to the game, rather than almost two weeks prior, as it does for all other flex games.

I don't know about the ratings argument. Brett Favre=Ratings and has all season. There is a reason that the Vikings vs. Lions was playing damn near nationwide last week.

I don't really think they would go with Vikings vs. Bengals over Giants vs. Eagles, but there is a decent shot that we get flexed in on one of them. As of now the Panthers game is the night game ... and I would not be surprised to see it stay there, meaning we don't get flexed in for any others.

keep in mind, although Giants/Eagles is a divisional game, they're two struggling teams, without a whole lot of interest outside that division.
Cincy/Vikings are two good teams, and this will be a good game and a test to see if both teams are for real.
The inter-conference aspect of it isn't a huge draw, but I wouldn't rule it out as being picked over Giants/Eagles for the late game.

    Dat's what I'm sayin'.
    The Farveffect has limits.

    NFC East > Favreffect
Favreffect > NFC intra-divisional not involving the Cowboys, Giants or Eagles
    Pittsburgh > Favreffect
Favreffect > AFC matchup not involving Colts or Patriots

I absolutely hope the Bengals Vikings game isn't flexed.
Again, not sure if I can drink that many anymore.

Was just talking with Randy (Bengals Fan coming with me) about the possibility and he said we will have to record it cause we ain't gonna remember it.
Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v343/josdin00/Vikings/Marrdro_sig.jpg

Well to be fair ... the first GB/Min game would be No. 2 if it was not on cable. Also ... the Vikings have not been given a SNF game ... which would also have made the list fairly high I would guess.
No doubt that the Giants, Cowboys and Steelers definitely mean ratings though (throw the Patriots into that mix as well).
Pretty fun to look at though.
