They probably will though if they used a non exclusive version of it an additional question is presented.
Would you give up two first round picks for him such as the Bears did for Cutler and the Redskins did for RG3?
We still need some more building on our defense and WR core so I'd hesitate on it myself.Minnesota Vikings : Simply the best

If anyone thinks that the Ravens GM (Ozzie) is going to listen to their yutz fans and get rid of Flacco this year, I want some of what your smoking.
First question. Who would you replace him with?
Second question. Who would you replace him with?
Third qeustion. Who would you replace him with?
In the end, he's no Tom Brady or Peyton Manning, but who is? Not alot of them running around these days.
The Ravens will add some WR talent, fix their OL and all the Flacco woes that have cropped up will go away. Many many thanks to my talented friend Jos for the new Sig.

Nope...
Its Brees, Rogers, manning, Brady.
Almost everyone else is talented but doesn't make an entire team substantially better. Players like Rivers, Flacco, Cutler and co, help make an offense or a WR better but not carry an entire team, where they believe they can win in any situation. Confidence is an addictive drug!

Just thought I would give this thread a little bump as I eat my crow sammich.

I think the only reason for hope was that Joe would demand more money than he's worth for a guy who hasn't really done anything. At the time of this thread, he was on a losing streak. Obviously now he will be paid, and absolutely deserves it. He's proven he no longer is a manager, but a leader. You could have easily questioned that two months ago

Oh goodness ... there is a ZERO percent chance. Absolute ZERO percent chance that Joe Flacco hits the open market.
He will almost certainly sign longterm with a the Ravens and if he doesn't he will certainly get franchised for at least one season.
Flacco is perfect for the Ravens offense. He can just wing it downfield while letting the middle open up for Rice running and Rice/Pitta receiving the short passes. He has a huge arm and loves to let it rip. All those who want to call him "elite" now are simply overstating it, but he certainly is a solid QB who would probably be an upgrade over Ponder.
Of course, he does not have any receiver who can go get it downfield for him here. And of course it does not matter. ZERO percent chance.
