    First Vikings Penalty of 2007

    Just an interesting question.
With the Vikings trying desperately to overcome being the most penalized team in 2006, who will be the Viking to commit the first ACCEPTED penalty of the 2007 season?

    Declined penalties do not count.

Personal fouls do not count extra - unless a bone is broken.

    =Z=

Thanks to Josdin for the awesome sig!

    Ray Edwards.
    Roughing the passer.

I think I've said this before but my highschool coach hated offensive penalties, but he actually wanted someone to put the opposing QB on his ass early in the game.
Said it made them a bit jumpy.
    ;D

    I still cotton to that.
I would love to see Ole Joey on his ass sometime early in the first series.
    ;D

Well, since I, as whack put so articulately in another thread, have not been very high on Childress, I am going to say Marcus Johnson as a direct result of Childress not making as improvements/fixing any problems to the team during the offseason.

If I were Singer or Webby, this Marcus Johnson vote would be attributed to our RT getting a holding penalty by smartly protecting our young QB from getting hit cleanly and possibly injured. This might make sense because Singer or Webby said it, but alas, I am only lowly V, who is not high on Childress, and have been very negative about our team, so to you all this vote for Marcus Johnson should come off as very negative.

Why is everyone assuming Johnson is our starting RT?

The job is still up in the air isn't it, and didn't cook start week 2 and 3 of the preseason?

    I chose Del's hommiw Hicks.

Whoever it is, it will be a false start.
We will drive the ball down to the red zone with ease and we will all be creaming our pants.
Then we will have a false start, a stuffed run, and an incomplete pass.

The out come...we will tack a measly 3 on the board!

    Does that sound familiar?
