First Viking Game
I tried searching for my answer to this question but couldn't find it.
We are headed up for the Baltimore game on Octiber 18 and I see you guys have a tailgate.
Can anyone go to the tailgate?
Is there admission or a donation ?
What is the best lot to park in to be close to the tailgate ?
Go Vikes !!

Re: First Viking Game
Everyone is welcome, so please stop by!
The best place to park is probably anywhere along the light rail route, than hop the train and take that in for a few bucks.
I like parking at the station off of Hiawatha and Lake St.
Otherwise, if your set on parking your car downtown, the best parking IMO (I'm sure others will have a different opinion), is the parking ramnp directly across the street from the Guthrie.
If you get there really early it's only like 5 dollars, if you get there closer to game time it will be $20, which is still a bargain considering the next lots over charge $50.

FROM THE SOUTH: I-35W
Heading north on 35W, take the 3rd Avenue/Washington Avenue exit (17C). Turn LEFT onto Washington Avenue. Turn RIGHT onto 11th Avenue South. Turn LEFT onto South 2nd Street and go 2 blocks. The Guthrie will be on your right. (Parking ramp on your left)Parking will be $20 here unless you get there before 8 or 9.Parking
Parking is available in the ramp on South 2nd Street directly across from the Guthrie and in numerous parking lots throughout the neighborhood. The event rate for Guthrie performances is $8. Rates vary during Twins and Vikings games and other area events.

Yes.
And so close to the Dome you can smell the sweat off of Jared Allen's mullet while he is warming up.

Trough pissing is pretty standard for non-state of the art stadiums though.
