After 10 seasons of high-caliber performance, and several seasons that could’ve warranted a selection to the annual All-Star game, Vikings CB Antoine Winfield was finally named to his 1st Pro Bowl last year. He joined 5 other teammates who represented the Vikings in Honolulu.

So which Vikings will make the Pro Bowl after this season?...

THis years pro bowl selections IMO:

Peterson
Hutch
McKinney
K&P Williams (as long as they don't get suspended)
Allen
Greenway


Bold is a first time pro bowler

Favre

EJ
BERRIAN

I have a feeling EJ will get snubbed again.
As well as he played, getting injured last season hurt him more than physically.
Like i was saying in another thread, he needs to get noticed more, as the pro bowl is a popularity contest more than anything.
He'll have to re-establish himself.

I wanna know how many will finally start playing up to thier potential, fit into the scheme and execute more consistently which will get us more wins.

You'd be surprised.

Personally, I don't put much into it, but in the end it all comes down to respect.
When you're voted to the pro bowl, it means teammates, coaches and fans respect your ability to play.
Plus its always nice when you have a bunch of pro bowlers.
Gets your team some attention, something we desperately need if we want a stadium done any time soon.

If one of your lackeys at work got some award, for doing what you do just as well, with say a trip to Hawaii, you would be pissed.

It won't be due to skill, it will be because there are some damn good TE's in this league.
(at least one that will get in by name alone, A.K.A the Matt Birk Syndrome)
