Finding it hard to bash an offense that scores 31 points

I'm hearing many people on this board bashing the vikes offense. That is ridiculous. If you cant win football games with 31 points or even 28 points than you definately have to look squarely at the defense. i've said it before and I'll say it again, this years and last years defense are the worst i've ever seen from the vikings.....EVER.

I blame the "D"...completely.

All year long, they have been unable to hold on when it counted. The "O" goes out and racks up points, and the "D" allows the other team to reciprocate. Hard to build a lead when your "D" can't hold anyone else back.

The D is not very good, that's for sure. But the "high powered offense" scored just 24 pts against a pathetic Packer defense and just 3 pts in the second half.(remember the defense scored the second half touchdown) Which means our defense actually outscored our offense 7-3 in the second half!!! That is an absolutely pathetic and inexcusable performance on the part of the offense with the division on the line!!! Scott Linehan needs to go!!!

I totally agree Tice must shoulder the blame, he gets the credit when the Vikings win so he must also take the blame when they lose.

It was a matter of feet. If our defense would have tackled him one foot further from the marker or the ref would have spotted the ball one foot less, it would have been easy to eye and the refs wouldn't have stopped the clock for a measurement.

THAT IS THE WAY THE BALL BOUNCES!!!!!!

It sucks, but they would have done it for us.

It definitely was huge. The stoppage allowed them to get the FG unit on the field. They would have had to go for the first down and stop the clock at the same time to get a chance to stop the clock and get the FG unit on the field. I don't think they would have been able to do it without time running out.
