The guys in the stripped shirts sure helped Pittsburgh today. They took away a touchdown by calling a trip on a regular block, They called a personal foul on Sapp for going after the Pittsburgh QB while his one foot was in bounds and the other one hadn't touched out of bounds, they called tthe defense for some movement of some kind that caused the Pittsburgh line to move.

The back judge even tried to get in the way on Harvin's kickoff return for a touchdown.
that hit from sapp will get get called every single time.

The tripping call on a cut block was pure garbage, and defensive delay of game was fucked.
Even the announcers were calling that.

Ad the ref wasn't trying to get in the way, thats really trying to stretch things there.
He was in fact backing away and got run over by Dugan, who was about 5 yards behind the play.

No Winfield, Madieu Williams is banged up, Paymah can't cover, unless Big Ben shits the bed, he's gonna have a huge day.
We have three possible counters...AD has a big day (Steelers haven't allowed a 100+ yd in forever, not good odds), Favre matches Big Ben's output, or, the Steelers turn the ball over like Nebraska did yesterday (8X for God's sake

The outcome which is probably the most likely is a good game by Favre...

Tough matchup no matter how you look at it.
    We do have Longwell though

    Steelers 34

    Boy, was I off.
We had them...THAT loss is going to bring this Team even closer together.
They know they got JOBBED by the Ref.
    TRIPPING?

It was even better that they called Dugan for it but missed Starks sticking his leg out when Allen had him beat on an inside move.

The entire game was terrible as far as the referees are concerned.
It was one sided all the way.
The Steelers got away with numerous holds and blocks in the back from the front line.
I even believe the call against Sapp was legal.
Ben was not fully OOB yet and Sapp had left his feet before Ben was OOB.
The fact is IBP is correct in that they would get that call everytime because it is a QB.
However, since the QB left the pocket he should be fair game just like every other player that doesn't slide. It should not have been called.
The "trip" was one of the worst calls I have ever seen.
I know I've seen bad calls but that was horrible.
