My thought is Radovich will be dropped after McKinney gets back. But then I don't know much about how well he has played. I did see Johnson have a false start (kind of his signature) in the Dallas game. And he has had several years to improve. So maybe they go with Radovich seeing that Johnson seems to have reached his potential. Which isn't saying much for Johnson.
I think they will get rid of either Frampton or Abdullah instead assuming that Madieu is healthy by then we wouldn't need 5 safeties.
I say both and bring back Greg Blue ;D

Biggest surprise: If you've been reading the NFC East blog this afternoon, none of these names should surprise you -- save for one. I may have nailed 20 of the 22 cuts, but I didn't see the Mike Jefferson cut coming. After T.O. and Patrick Crayton, I have no clue who's going to play receiver against the Browns. Sam Hurd, Isaiah Stanback and Miles Austin are all hurt. The Cowboys cut Jefferson and "Hard Knocks" favorites Danny Amendola and Todd Lowber, so prepare yourself for an emotional episode.

Third-team quarterback Richard Bartel came close to making the team, but he ended up being the last man on the chopping block. I'm hearing that the Cowboys are actively pursuing quarterbacks Chris Simms and Brooks Bollinger. If they don't get either player, Bartel will once again be on the practice squad.

    don't forget chase johnson.
He was gonna be that experienced young guy that has already learned the scheme and will come in and work wonders with the first team....

I feel the same way. I understand the cut with Allison there and all. But this guy has a lot of upside. I hope he makes it onto our practice squad.
Martin Nance is the one that should make the squad before DR. I was actually hoping we got rid of Ferg. or B-Wade.
M-Nasty as coach Stew likes to call him, had one hell of a camp/preseason.

Mozes was a guy who had potential to replace Birk. Mozes played some decent ball in the preseason but he didn't stand out like John Sullivan who was not here when some of us fans were looking toward the future. I don't expect Birk to be playing for the Vikings next season and if Mozes isn't taken he may come in to backup Sullivan.

Chase Johnson was another guy discussed and what I was most curious about was how he responded in the classroom and on the football field. I was very upset with Johnson's play and would describe it as complete garbage, I'm glad he's gone and now we can look foward to guy like Rodavich who wasn't here in the offseason when some fans were brainstorming.

By the way I don't know that any of us claimed he was gonna come in "work wonders" with the first team unit. Personally I thought he had a shot at beating out Artis Hicks for that LT position but obviously that didn't work out. The good news is Rodavich has shown promise at Tackle, even then Hicks is the man for the job. You guys can bash ideas from the past but you gotta understand we only looked at what was here and of course the offseason can be very long.

Martin Nance can no longer be a practice squad member with the Vikings.
He has been there for the maximum number of years so he is now a unrestricted free agent.

As for the roster cuts, the one big surprise I saw was the Nance- J. Johnson battle.
I thought for sure they would keep 6 WR's.
Unfortunately, Martin had to get cut

LOL, you guys remember everything don't ya.
Do you remember the time frame when that discussion happened?
It was during the FA period when you were all crotchsniffing after the dregs of the world and pre-Rad/Sullivan.

Problem is you guys forgot or missed when I switched my stance on both of those guys.
