McKinnie is on the reserve/suspended list so he doesn't count against the current roster.

My thought is Radovich will be dropped after McKinney gets back. But then I don't know much about how well he has played. I did see Johnson have a false start (kind of his signature) in the Dallas game. And he has had several years to improve. So maybe they go with Radovich seeing that Johnson seems to have reached his potential. Which isn't saying much for Johnson.

My thoughts on cut day:

1.
Sign Simms (if price is right), Drop Booty
2.
Sign Anderson to a one or two year deal, Drop Johnson or a safety (maybe Frampton?)
3.
I'd rather have Leman than Ciurciu
4.
Glad Erin made the team
5.
Do we really need Fred Evans when we have 4 other guys that can play DT?
6.
Why not keep Nance around?
7.
I hope we can keep Leman/J. Johnson/Sumrall/Mattran around on the PSquad

Yeah, guess you are probably right about dropping the safety. I was focusing on the O.line and who may be cut from that group. And with the cut block still being legal, it doesn't hurt to keep an extra backup O.lineman. I just have been disappointed with Johnson's inability to go on the snap count.

The Vikings' final cuts Saturday included no major surprises, and the only real intrigue revolved around the No. 3 quarterback job. And even that seemed like a foregone conclusion.

As expected, rookie John David Booty got the nod over veteran Brooks Bollinger to secure a spot on the 53-man roster. The Vikings jettisoned 20 players, placed safety Michael Boulware on injured reserve because of a broken wrist and moved left tackle Bryant McKinnie to reserve/suspended.
