Interesting, I hope he's right...all should get cut.
Wiggins either isn't Chilli's kinda guy or he was terrible last year, Rosenthal looked totally clueless the whole year, Dwight Smith can't cover his mouth.
The offense needs to be rehauled at the TE position, Rosenthal wasn't even servicable on special teams, and Greg Blue can do what Smith did; certainly next year anyway.
Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent

As a matter of fact, I do know

Interesting, Smith is a surprise but I don't think change could make us any worse so, maybe we'll move Sharper back over and maybe sign Michael Lewis at SS.

There's no word recently on how he's progressing.

IDK if it is a mistake or not. I love Wiggy and he led our team in receiving for two years, so he obviously has talent, but there is a difference between not being utilized properly and not fitting into an offense. If Wiggins has the right offense he is great, but I'm not so sure he has the tools to be a good west coast TE.Mistake to cut Wiggy...he just needs to be better utilized!
When you think of WCO tight ends you think of guys like Gates, Gonzales and Vernon Davis. They all have great size, speed and strength, and Wiggins isn't exceptional in any of those areas.
I won't lose sleep over any of those guys being gone, but I don't understand cutting guys like Napo and Dwight Smith. Unless they'd make a fuss about being backups, I could see them adding great depth.

Re: A few Vikings casualties?
I liked the way Wiggins was caatching passes for us in the previous years.
I just don't think he is the entire package.
There is a reason that Belly-check cut him.
I like the guy, hate to see him go, but it will open the door for someone with more than just catching ability (and hurdling).
It wasn't just this last year that made me realize this,
You can only let him go if you have a better guy somewhere to replace him.
The guys we have had haven't been better so that is a question mark to me.
How long did we sign Tank for?
It didn't seem like a long contract.
