At 5-5, the Vikings aren't getting many Pro Bowl votes from NFL fans....

The sad part of that is the Redskins are in the first year of a new coaching staff that just converted to a WCO and they are doing it without changing the whole roster over and are doing it in a tougher division.

Childress is 3 years into converting an offense that was very similar to the old Redskins offense to the WCO and even with a big infusion of talented, high dollar FA's they still don't look like they know what they are doing.

I don't think our problems are that complex.
The Redskins have a QB who can play, we don't.
The Redskins play mistake-free football, we don't.

Maybe you could pass that nugget on to the coaching staff. It seems to be lost on them.

Yep, and that is why I hate Childress.

To stop this thread from being derailed I think:

    Antoine
    Kevin
    Pat
    Jared
    Greenway
    Madieu (post injury)
    EJ (pre injury)
    Steve
    Matt
    Bryant (post suspension)
    Adrian

have all played at a pro bow level.

Have you watched the Redskins the past couple weeks?
They are sucking big-time right now.

And Zorn inherited a starting QB who was young and on the upswing in Jason Campbell.
Not an aging, broken-down, tiny-handed malcontent like Daunte Culpepper.

    =Z=

Thanks to Josdin for the awesome sig!

Re: Few Minnesota Vikings generate Pro Bowl interest

I used to think the probowl was a decently fair vote but I now change my mind

Pat Williams should not really be that high.. he is good but he is just a run stopper

Kevin Williams should be the top vote getter

Winfield should be higher then 8th in the NFC

Allen should be a little higher

WHy has Darren Sharper even got 1 vote?

Rock Cartwright on kick returns? Ha.. He's good but I dont think top vote getter

AJ Hawk.. Wow seriously? Good but way overhyped..

Ronde Barber doesn't have a pick

Springs has 16 tackles an no picks

Winny has more tackles then all of them.. More picks then most except Samuel and Woodson.. And more sacks then all of them

The probowl is a joke.. I didn't see it.. But now I do

Used to think it was pretty fair.. Now I see the real picture

Excellent post, and I am on board with you.
Screw the pro bowl, it's nothing more then a popularity contest

I don't really care about the pro bowl. When someone tells me that so and so made / did not make the pro bowl, it doesn't effect me either way.

With that said, I really hope Winfield makes it because he deserves the recognition and I can tell he wants to go to a pro bowl.
