Favres brother in law dies in ATV accident

Sad but its true, just saw it on ESPN. remember the last time there was a death in his family before a monday night game, he was dropping bombs all over the place.

still rooting for the titans though, anyone know if mcnair is going to start?

My sympathies go out to him and his family!!

It has been a very tough year for them, I truely wish them the best and hope they can come together and support each other though this unfortunate tragedy.

Sympathy for Favre is fine but lets not go overboard. Monday night we will have to sit through another tounge bath given to Favre by Monday Night Football.

The Badger/Packer fans cheered "SHOOT HIM LIKE A HORSE" two weeks ago when the Pen State QB was knocked out of the game. They also cheered as the ambulance crossed the goal line.

If the Packers win on Monday will they atribute it to devine intervention again? If this trend contiunes Packers fans will put a contract out on Favre's mother to win a play-off game

Sorry to Favre and his family, but this just gives the announcers more to talk about all the hardships Favre has had in the past week! Anyone wanna bet they show replays of last years monday night game when the pack was in Oakland right after Favres dad died!

I get the most pissed off looks from people with my VKG 4 LFE Wisconsin license plate, and I LOVE IT!!

You are seriously a pathetic excuse for a retard if you did not admire that Monday Night performance.

HIS FATHER DIED and he went out and threw for FOUR HUNDRED YARDS and FOUR TOUCHDOWNS. There is no way to describe that performance other than to say it was remarkably courageous. Love or hate Favre, you cannot HELP but admit he is an amazing QB, and leader.

Its amazing how we don't complain when Madden says that Moss is the best receiver in football - he is - but complain when Madden says Favre is one of, if not the, best QB in football today - he is.

8404, you need to watch out, as you are showing signs of being one of the most intelligent and unbiased Viking fans there is.

Ok, was it a great game? Yeah, it was a great game by Favre considering his dad just died, however, think if it were some other QB (like Josh McCown). Would they be saying how great they are and talking about the game all the time. I doubt it. Also, is he one of the best QB's all time? yes, is he as good as he used to be? nope.
