(We pay attention to such matters for some reason.)

    That was some "good Brett"...

Son of a b$tch, that was some good Brett.

I certainly know that feeling, and also know how it will create "waivers" amongst many for:

    "bad Brett"
Oh, you have seen it, laughed about it, etc.
Just remember, just as you have never "felt" "good Brett" until yesterday, you have never "felt" "bad Brett".

When you do, everyone will return to their originally assigned positions.

    Mark my words.
    Marr to his.
    Mars to his.
    And everything in between.

    ...But there is one more.
The "game changer" regarding those pre-assigned positions on this matter.

That would be the "ugly Brett"

This is the one that has caused so much gleeful schadenfruede here at PPO over the years. You know, the 6 interceptions in a game Brett.

This is the one that will crank the page count in the BF thread to astronomical levels.

This is the Brett that I would like to see.

    Monday Night.

    Congratulations.
All homerism aside, that had to be an absolutely thrilling thing for you to see (and more importantly) -----feel.

    Good for you!

I think I summed it up yesterday in a sentence:

What I saw yesterday was why I hated that son of a bitch for 17 years.

    Trust me, I'm a doctor.

Which play was better? The game winning touchdown pass or when Brett was 40 yards down field throwing blocks for BB

Although I think it was cool he was in the play and making a block, I don't like him doing it.
Why take more hits than you need to?

The TD pass to me was one of the best feelings I have had as a Viking fan.
You would have thought we won the superbowl with the 10 or so Viking fans running around high fiving, hugging, knocking each other on the ground, fighting with the 2 SF fans that were there.
It was a great feeling and one I hope I can re-visit in February.

I totally agree with you, it was like the superbowl. i was sitting there with my cowboy and falcon friend, told them i dont think we are gonna win but this is the most confidence i have ever had in us making a game winning drive. soon as i seen that catch i ran past EVERY packer and bear fan who were screaming at the tv, ran up to all the other vikings fans and got as loud as possible.

When the game isn't fun anymore, then you shouldn't play.

    It is obviously fun!

Anyone else notice that Favre is not stepping into his throws, but rather moving backwards and using all arm?

Amazing he get that much zip on the ball and his arm stays attached.
I've been a Viking fan since I was just out of diapers, hopefully we get Super Bowl win before I go back in 'em.

I don't believe we will see ugly Brett this year just because this team is way too talented for him to have a meltdown and try forcing a ton of throws.
He has the option of turning around and handing it off or throwing it to him in the flat.
He never had a talent like AP while he was with the packers.

    I agree Snow.
I love the fact he's all into it and the reason why I'm glad he is a Viking.
It's also the reason why I've admired the guy as much as I hated him for being a Packer.
I'm just thinking he takes enough hits as it is and there is no reason to take a hit 40 yards down field.
I give him props but I don't think that helps any.
