    Re: Favre-tastic

Not only did Favre deliver a god-send win, he delivered hope for the rest of the season.
I guarantee you that this team now realizes that we are never out of a game.
They will bust their asses each week to give Favre even the slightest glimmer of hope.
"There are 3 things that sell in America:
    Violence, sex, and drugs.
The only way you are going to make this game more appealing to the public than it was before is if there are on field orgies at halftime and the domes become massive opium dens."

How about some props for Greg Lewis making the great catch on that play!?
Of course....cant leave the receiver out on that play....one heck of a catch.

All I could think of was when he came was who in the hell is #17....

    Now I will remember

Me too. I said, "I don't even know the name of my new favorite player."
But there were plenty of heroes in all phases.

As they were calling that play, I watched Lewis come running onto the field (and Harvin sorta limp off) and wondered aloud about that switch.
    Now I understand why, LOL!

Thanks to Josdin for the awesome sig!

    Exactly what I thought.
All I could think the second I saw that catch was "Thank God we cut Bobby Wade."
    LOL.
I was asking my Viking fan friends the same thing.
It's funny they were all asking who Greg Lewis was.
I had to let them know he was Wade's replacement.

This was all possible because of Zeus and his pre-game sermon.

You're getting raped in the pics thread, dude.
Time to man up and admit you had no faith.

I had no faith. I do believe there is a reason for everything. The lord told me to leave. Lord Favre that is.

    Re: Favre-tastic

I did the play by play of the end of your game for my fellow Puker fans in the gameday chat during our own game.
(We pay attention to such matters for some reason.)

    That was some "good Brett"...

Son of a b$tch, that was some good Brett.

I certainly know that feeling, and also know how it will create "waivers" amongst many for:

    "bad Brett"
Oh, you have seen it, laughed about it, etc.
Just remember, just as you have never "felt" "good Brett" until yesterday, you have never "felt" "bad Brett".

When you do, everyone will return to their originally assigned positions.

    Mark my words.
    Marr to his.
    Mars to his.
    And everything in between.

    ...But there is one more.
The "game changer" regarding those pre-assigned positions on this matter.

That would be the "ugly Brett"

This is the one that has caused so much gleeful schadenfruede here at PPO over the years. You know, the 6 interceptions in a game Brett.

This is the one that will crank the page count in the BF thread to astronomical levels.

This is the Brett that I would like to see.

    Monday Night.

    Congratulations.
All homerism aside, that had to be an absolutely thrilling thing for you to see (and more importantly) -----feel.

    Good for you!
