I say he retires, then during week 1 with T-Jack warming up before kick-off, a worried Chilli turns and spots Favre in the crowd, he motions at him to come over. In an instant superman style Favre rips off his street clothes to reveal a dazzling white 4 emblazoned on the purple and gold jersey. With 1 bound he leaps on to the field as the crowd go nuts then goes on to throw a career best of 836yds and 9 TD's.

I'll say the Wednesday before the 2nd pre-season game.

I doubt he'll say anything before training camp because we all know he hates it. And even though many people on that team have said they don't care if he skips tc, it's still a bad look to skip it.

Who cares, Favre is god. Training camp is for those who need it. TJ fans should be thrilled he gets to take extra snaps.

Unless Favre retires he already told us he is playing this year when he signed a two year deal last year.

So my guess is the day he signed the two year deal. :woohoo:

I think if he had his way it would be the last day of training camp! i dont mind waiting as long as the answer is yes!!!!!

he'll announce it after the 2nd preseason game, and play in the 3rd preseason game. but honestly, hell if i care if he announces it a on opening day at 11am and wants to be the starter for 1pm game, i just want the guy to be on the roster!

I'd say it won't be long (1-2 weeks) AFTER the Draft. He'll want to see what the Front Office does to bolster the roster, and also to see what the official schedule looks like, ie. how many cold-weather games they're scheduled for.
