Day before the draft.

He has nothing to concern himself about for your training camp. If he wants to bust a gut, he will. If not, he will not. I don't blame him or the Vikes FO..the new Barney paradigm worked quite well last year, and when you compare it to what the Jets did the previous year (basically threw his arm out--remember?) I think the lesson was learned.

Many want to kid/ridicule/whatever the Vikings and Favre for this "game", but the fact remains that it worked last year.
I say that if he is playing this year, and I think he is, you will be hearing about it sooner than most would anticipate.

Just tell Chilly that he has to hold a presser letting everyone know that Barney isn't staying in any damn dorm and I think you will be good to go for aforementioned training camp.

I'm going that early because I figure no one else will.

Favre put on his stinky ol Nike Golf hat got on his tractor and told Chiller "I'll Be Back" a la the Terminator.

Seriously he IS coming back, there is no doubt in my mind. Chilli, Zygi and everyone else knows it. They will NOT say it, and frankly they SHOULDNT. We would not be this quiet in the offseason regarding the QB situation otherwise.

He'll retire on April 1 then before the draft he'll say it was a very long drawn out April Fool's prank and he'll play. Then lead us to the NFC championship game where we beat the packers 42-0 then win the SB over the Pats.
