Works for me, but here it is again.

Doubt it's that interesting for you Vikes fans, though.

The Pukers are sitting in the shadows of a red pine, waiting to grab the NFCN title. The plucking will be much easier without their former hero leading the purple and gold.

I wish Favre would announce that he is not returning and then S. Miss goes to the CWS and he has to renege on his word. The whole thought of an arbitrary bet determining the Vikings season just seems very fitting.
Agree, the PUKERS are gonna be tougher this year with both teams probably getting a win at home.

Even though they drafted a OLmen this year, I still think they have issues there and at CB.
No. They do not have problems at CB. I don't know why this is something that has sneaked into everyone's mind. It annoyed me so much that I made one of those blasphemous bleacherreport.com accounts and wrote an article about it.

    http://bleacherreport.com/articles/386489-why-the-packers-didnt-need-a-cornerback

If anything, the bad OLB situation will kill us. I know one thing, we won't beat you twice if you have Favre. I'd be surprised if we'd beat you even once, really.

Anyway, this bet is one big heap of crap. It'd be interesting if he'd say that he wouldn't return if Southern Miss didn't get to the finals.
Marrdro tends to think there are problems where there are not. I agree that there are no problems at CB for GB but there may be in the near future. Woodson and Harris are studs. They are shut down CBs, something we lack. On the other hand they are both getting very old. I am sure both are really close to hanging it up. I don't see much in talent after those two. Also, nothing in this years draft. I feel like Favre could tear that team up by putting 4 WRs on the field.

I read your article and fail to see how you think the future does not look that bad. I don't see how you think Underwood and Williams are the future. NowI am no talent scout but they are not that impressive.

Now lets go to the stats that might make me look foolish for saying that. Green Bay went from ranked 12th in 2008 to ranked 5th in 2009.

So yes Marrdro IMO is wrong for thinking CB is a problem. I just don't see much in the future. I could be wrong.

Back on topic here ... Southern Miss is battling and staying alive.

They won an elimination game 19-6 today! But they still need to top Auburn and then top Clemson TWICE to advance to the CWS.

I see your point. Underwood is a potential guy. He looked quite good down the stretch, coaches were raving about him and he looked great in OTAs so far. He looked like a plank last year, but bulked up this year, so that should help him, as well. He has yet to prove that he can do more than cover the 4th receiver, though.

Both times that Harris went down, we didn't have a big fall off to Tramon Williams. I don't know if he's nr. 1 material, but he's certainly good enough to be a starter on a lot of teams. He should just stop the armbars.

Then you have Pat Lee. Maybe the CB with the most potential on the roster right now. After a pretty bad first season, he looked like he could do some things in his 2nd season. And then he got injured and placed on IR. Apparently, he looks very strong again. It's just that we have to hope that he doesn't get injured.

And like you said, we still have Woodson at this point. Harris should be back in week 6 or something, I think.

Anyway, go Southern Miss. It'd be nice to see him make the choice right now. Or see how he tries to stay out of camp as long as he can after promising he'll come back.

Barring a miracle ... the Eagles are out. They are down 17-6 in the 8th inning.

Well I didn't follow the team as much as I thought I would, but still kind of fun.

On a related note I was surprised to see the Gophers beat top seeded Cal Ful.
