On a side note......Good thing those recievers can catch that mess he's chucking.....

    Quote from El Syd

A couple of times on Sunday, Favre underthrew the ball. Once, Rice stopped in his tracks, his back to the end zone, and waited for a floater to come down. He had opened up about a 10-yard gap on his defender. But he had to come to a halt as Favre threw a wobbler on the run. That gap closed quickly.

"It's tough," Rice noted. "I saw him coming at me full speed. Fortunately, I was able to get back to the ball and make a play on it."
201 yards receiving all in a day's work for Vikings' Sidney Rice

Hell, even a quote from the Noodle himself.....

"It's just kind of freaky how it turned out," Favre says. "But Percy made me look good, and turned what could've been a bad decision into a great play."
    Did ya read that.....a bad decision.....snicker... :P

    Harvin making Favre look good

Keep on chuckin Noodle, they'll keep on catching.... :woohoo:
The smileys don't make it any less annoying. I would rather have that "mess" that Favre is chucking up there than any other QB in the league right now.
    Annoying? Not my words, thiers.

As to any other QB,.....Not sure if I would go that far. Course my opinion is tainted, but I'd rather have Peyton, Brees, or Rivers.
Marr, it's OK to be wrong. Hell almost all of us were wrong about Favre to at least some extent. He's a damn good QB, probably the best the Vikings have ever had under center (so far this season).

Step back, take a breath and enjoy everything that Favre has brought to the table. Every QB makes a bad throw here and there. The fact you've only been able to find two comments to bad throws of the 100's of passes he's thrown speaks volumes. Favre has been accurate both with the long ball and the short ball...admit it, accept it, and you will feel much better. Easier to enjoy the games when your not grasping at excuses to chop Favre's performance down. He has been an exceptional fit for our team this year and everybody on the roster (including the coaching staff)has benefited from his presence.
    Never my friend. Never.

By the way, I could have put in more, but as my friend NP says, it gets annoying to hear it....

On a side note, this is gonna be a fun thread. :P
It sure is, lol. I can feel it starting to churn already.

He really must be learning the intricacies of the KAO from Jackson, you can really tell how working with TJ has elevated Brett's game to a new level.

Re:Favre has top rating on long passes

96- Jackson, Rison, Chmura, and Brooks, Combined to get 104 receptions, 1354 yds, and 19td's, Rison played in 5 games and barely did squat, Freeman had 900 yds, Beebe-700, Their receiver core that year was mediocre.

2007-Driver had 1000yds, Jennings-900, Lee, and Jones were decent, Franks, and Robinson combined for 370yds and 39 receptions,

With 5 games to go, Not being ridiculous it's possible Rice will have 1100-1200yds, Harvin-900, Shanks 600yds and 11 TD's BB 600yds, That is a little better than both 96,07 GB receivers.

I'll take the 2009 Viking receivers over both 96, 07 Packers, But will admit they are overachieving.

Keith Jackson IMO was an average TE, Averaged 49 catches, 560yds, and 5.5 td's in his 9 years, The TE's in his generation weren't that good, (After Winslow-B4 Sharpe)

After 11 games it's just plain fact that Favre is one of the top 3 QB's this year, Some under/overthrows don't mean diddly. He threw that one pass to Rice against Detroit that was 65yds in the air, How many under 40 QB's can do that? He's made the team better, and the team has made him look better-if that makes sense.

Even the famous Favre hater has to admit the excitement and possibilities this year are due in large part to our new QB, I spent my last 17 years wanting his team to lose like everyone else here, But I'm sure as hell gonna enjoy any benefits that may come with his arrival-I will buy a #4 Favre Viking jersey if we win the big game. (And send it to Marrdro  )
Even if the Vikings lose, I can still find happiness in Bears, and Packer losses.

I was gonna say the same thing, Maybe his acting like an idiot with the fans is why I don't like him, He inherited some great weapons that would make any QB look good.
