NFL commissioner Roger Goodell is expected to fine, but not suspend, Minnesota Vikings quarterback Brett Favre for his propositioning of former Jets employee Jenn Sterger, FOX Sports reported today.

The official announcement is expected sometime this week.

In case you haven't noticed.....I've tried to stay away from that whole issue. I think its something that should be drug out in the courts and not on the football field/articles.

So yes, the green pukey emoticon isn't solely meant for the Noodle young lady. Its for the whole fricken mess and that we have to keep hearing about it especially on a day we should be talking about great defensive play, OL play, RB play and yes, even Tawhidul's play.

Hmmmm!

Didn't they say after his first interview that he was very cooperative?

It seems odd now that they fine him for being uncooperative. Perhaps he didn't want to whip out his tallywhacker so Goodell could do the ole eye comparison to the pics ala Porky's.

We'll never know the whole story unless it goes public. I'm sure they can prove that texts, calls & pics were sent from Favre's phone as well as texts & messages from Jen's phone, but can't prove what was actually sent & who actually sent it. Or if there was indeed proof but an agreement was made that was kept away from the public eye.

Sterger said she wouldn't go public if he was punished for the harassment by seasons end. He wasn't punished for that, so we'll soon find out.

Favre made at least $16 million this season.

Considering the games he's played in thus far & the amount of time he was on the field, he probably made more than $50,000 during the 20 seconds he was knocked out, lying on the field.

I heard on the PowerTrip morning show on KFAN that Favre makes $50,000 in 3 minutes.

I'm sure they based that on 16 games, 60 minutes per game, whereas I was roughly looking at time he actually spent on the field thus far.

Besides, the intent of my post wasn't meant to be a technical fact finding mission to determine exactly how much Favre made per minute, but rather how minimal the fine was considering how much he makes.
