You are basing that on one preseason game? Remember we almost got beat by them in our own house last year.Looks like it's gonna be a long season

Love that hit by Johnson. Too bad he got burned by Troy Williamson, I mean Ginn, earlier.

Typical preseason game, slow and boring. I can't believe that when I was younger, I actually cared who won in preseason!?

M-Williams looked very tentative out there tonight.... I thought it was STJ for a bit.

Re:Favre Debut 49er Game thread
decent preseason game, favre got bum rushed and destroyed on the hit but cam up smiling from it so that good. jackson looked decent and got a few balls off when i thought he was gonna be sacked. the O-line still needs some work. Webb showing he has talent but is still raw. Rosenfels showing nothing at all. gerhart showing some clutch catching ability and some badly thrown balls while jackson was under heavy pressure.

Were you watching the same Jackson I was? He looked brutal. Webb honestly looked far better. And thats no joke. Yes, his play is basic, but he makes a decision and goes with it. Jackson jsut stands there confused and lost.jackson looked decent and got a few balls off when i thought he was gonna be sacked.

O-line, mainly Sully, scares the hell out of me. He is always getting pushed back in Favre's grill. With AD still showing poor blocking and Mckinny's tendency to get burnt I fear we're going to see Brett on his ass even more if a change isn't made.
I'm still a little curious about the idea of Albert Young getting the snaps ahead of Toby Gerhart. Young is just a slower version of AD. Where is the versatility? AD is our starter and our 3rd down back at the moment. That is my hang up on this. Albert Young is no 3rd down back.
Good to see EJ back. I liked what I saw out of Cook, not so much with Asher.
