Favre: "All I ask for is respect"

    http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...or-is-respect/

"All I ask for is respect.
What I did there goes without saying.
    I'm proud of it.
And you may hate the Vikings or whatever, but just respect what I've done over the years.
And once the game starts, play ball."

The Metrodome applauded Favre when he scored the TD record.

I don't know. I guess I think Favre deserves respect from the Packer fans when he brought so much to them over the years.

    I guess.

He desereves something baring his history.

However, I'm sad, that this good game, will be owershadowed by this Favre maniac.

Thanks to PPE for the sig.

Vikings fans did applaud at that game when BF set the TD passing record, and it was in the dome.
I thought it was classy and well earned.
I have a feeling he will be greated warmly by more than those who boooo tomorrow at Lamblow.
But thats just for his first appearence when taking the field.
After that, he will be the enemy who just so happens to be one of their very own all time greats. But I will be expecting them to give him as much hell and noise as possible for them to give, once the game strts.
Only to be hushed when they reallize that he is well into the process of giving them another beat down on his old turf.

For Brett, this will be like playing a home game on the road....does that even make sense?
    LOL

    I didn't clap.
    I boo'd.

I tink the Favre mania will disappear (at least from the game) once kickoff happens.

    =Z=

Thanks to Josdin for the awesome sig!

Whether he's booed, applauded or receives a standing ovation, I still hope he moons Ted Thompson & Joe Buck with a big "Fuck you Ted & Joe" written on his ass.
