Favorite Viking victory of all time

I'd have to say the 2003 Vikings over 49ers game.

Just because Daunte had just gone down, people were starting to talk, and T.O. had trash talked hardcore about how he was gunna show Moss up.

Moss finished with 8/172/3 and TO finished with 5/55 and threw a temper tantrum on the sideline - I laughed for about ten minutes.

Vikings vs. Cowboys in '98 on Thanksgiving when the whole country was introduced to the SUPER FREAK! 3 CATCHES= 3 TD'S AND over 100 yards. Great game.

Got to be the packers/vikings game in 2001 as well. We sucked balls that season and went 5-11 but murdered the packres 35-13 and even put up a fight at lambeau as well. Impressive.

Biggest win over the packers i ever seen.

I have a few favorites....but the best one had to be when an over the hill Jim McMahon threw a bomb over that smart assed Terrell Buckley to Eric Guliford.

Wasn't it this game in which the Vikings were wasting time even though they were down by two scores with a few minutes to go? If I remember right Denny Green was interviewed after the game and said he was using his "expert clock management" or something like that. Someone correct me if I'm wrong on this one.

I believe that you are correct, tdawg. It was a great win, not because of Denny's clock management skills but in spite of them.

I totally agree vikefan. Any win is a good win. I will never forget the clock management comment that Denny Green made though after that game. My dad and I still make jokes about it to this day.
