Re: fason??
Fason needs to be traded in order to suceed.. after Childress got Pinner, he has put Fason down as a 4th stringer.. not satisfying for him..

I had high hopes for Fason, maybe he'll turn things around.

Re: fason??
there was a link to an article in the thread Brad Johnson feels recharged after time off during the bye week
in that article it talks about fason:
On the sideline
A year after making regular contributions, running back Ciatrick Fason and offensive guard Anthony Herrera have become forgotten men on the roster. Each has been on the inactive list since Week 2.
Fason played in 13 games as a rookie last season, and scored four touchdowns in a short-yardage role. Herrera saw action in 10 games and started the final six games at left guard. He lost that job when the Vikings signed Pro Bowl guard Steve Hutchinson.
"It's been tough," Herrera said. "But it's a business in the NFL and every week you've got to prepare as if you're going to play because you never know when you're going to get called on."
Fason got off to a good start in training camp and seemed to be impressing coaches. However, he injured his shoulder in the Vikings' third preseason game and was slowed after that. While Fason says his shoulder is healed, Artose Pinner has passed him on the depth chart.
"[It's] just a choice on my part," coach Brad Childress said. "Early on it was I didn't feel like [Fason] was completely healthy, and Artose got in there and did a great job and continues to do a very good job on special teams. It's not just because, it's on merit. Artose is doing a nice job right there. You can only have [45] guys [suit] up."

Re: fason??
So basically, Fason got injured and Childress is more confident with Pinner.
