LB Heath Farwell is currently leading the
Vikings with 10 special teams tackles. In
Week 1, Farwell played a key role in pinning
the Falcons inside their own 20-yard
line 5 times. In Week 8 against the Eagles,
Farwell recovered the Vikings 1st quarter
onside kick, which was the 13th successful
onside in team history and the
team’s fi rst successful attempt in the
1st quarter. Last season, Farwell led the team with 25 special
teams stops and was voted Special Teams MVP. This season
he was named a captain for both the opener vs. Atlanta and the
game at Detroit.
