Thread: Fanvision at the Dome

So - I got an email today from the Vikings, offering up free "Fanvision" (available on a first-come, first-serve basis - the email came at 7:01am, I had registered by 7:31, we'll see if that was quick enough) for the season.

Fanvision appears to be a small hand-held device with a screen. This is what the email says it has:

The Vikings would like to thank you for your support by taking your in-stadium gameday experience to a whole new level with a free FanVision handheld device.

With this device, you can watch and listen to video and audio broadcasts with replay while in your seat at Mall of America Field.

Highlights of the device include:

-Local Broadcast
-Out of Town Games
-Instant Replays
-In-Game Highlights
-NFL Red Zone Channel
-Premium In-Stadium Camera Feeds
-Game Stats
-Player Stats

My e-mail just arrived and I signed up. But the automatic response I got was:

Thank you for your continued support of the Minnesota Vikings. You will be receiving your FanVision device in the mail in the next couple of weeks. A follow up email with tracking information will be sent to you once the device has shipped. Thank you again for being a loyal fan of the Vikings

I sent an email.
This really needs to happen. I'd even be willing to pay for it.
edit: recieved email from vikings. It's just talking about purple thursday and news about the vikings. No fanvision info.

The link does not appear to be attached to your e-mail address, you just have to supply your account number and contact info.

Looks like they are only offering it to premium seat holders.
