I knew about it two weeks ago. Didn't know if it was worth posting, since so few of us here are near Rochester.
I only live about 40 miles from Rochester, but haven't gone to one yet.

With a lot of younger people here it pays to post these things, most of them don't like reading the newspaper.

On Thursday the Minnesota Vikings and 1270AM KWEB, The Fan partnered to host the 2nd consecutive Vikings Fan Fest in Rochester. The event, open to the public, was held on the campus of Rochester Community Technical College.
The event featured appearances by current and former Vikings, interactive games, and a Punt, Pass, and Kick Competition. The crowd was also entertained by the Daredevil Dogz Frisbee Dog Show.
Gates opened at 3:00 to the public. Hundreds of fans, some dressed in Vikings memorabilia and others with their faces painted, gathered together, talked football, and showed their support for the Vikings. Current Vikings Tony Richardson and Ben Leber were signing autographs, as were Vikings alumni Joey Browner and Jim Marshall. At 4:30 the Punt, Pass, and Kick competition began. The competition was free to entrants, with kids in third through eighth grade participating. The winners had the chance to meet the Vikings players on stage.
The Daredevil Dogz Frisbee Dog Show began at 5:30. The Frisbee-catching dogs thrilled the crowd as they showed their athleticism and coordination. A roundtable discussion followed the dog show at 6:00. Joe Anderson led the discussion, with fellow KFAN personality Jeff Dubay, Vikings alumni and sideline reporter Greg Coleman, and 1270AM KWEB personality Greg Henn joining him.
The event concluded with a pep rally at 7:00. Anderson led the pep rally. Joe Anderson conducted interviews of alumni and current Vikings players on stage in front of the crowd as well. To cap off the night, members of the MVC tossed out Vikings footballs to the fans.
