Fan Bases Ranked by Milwaukee/FOX Writer

Highlights:
1. Pittsburgh: For some reason, I just never seem to meet an obnoxious Steelers fan. (I know, there's a guy in your office I need to meet first.) These guys know their current team, they know their history, and they keep it all in pretty good perspective. If I've got to choose one "fan base" to sit down and drink a beer with, the "Stillers" fans get the nod.
2. Green Bay: No doubt Packers fans are insanely dedicated. To sit in Lambeau through the most arctic temps in the league year after year, is amazing. However, something about the Favre-worship bothers me. Not to mention getting married at the stadium. Part of me says to those people: get a life, it is only football. The other part is just jealous.
10. Philadelphia: Insanely loyal, intensely knowledgeable and neurotic to the core. Nothing good can come from anything the Eagles do in their minds. The fans that booed the McNabb pick on draft day, are now the ones saying he was their guy all along.
16. Minnesota: Sometimes unified by hating the Packers, more than loving their own team. City should have built the team a new stadium by now, but I can see the hesitancy to put money in Red McCombs' pocket.Have you ever seen a race of turtles, and they all go the wrong way instead of towards the finish line?

I wonder if he took into account when all those packer fans were leaving the stadium early in that Monday night loss, or when they started out 1-4 and they said the season was over? He must not have.

It's one man's opinion, look at the guy standing next to him and the list would be totally different.
Besides, he probably had some Pittsburgh fans standing over him with steel bars telling him what to write.
And he's probably afraid of the packers fans, doing talk radio in Milwaukee and all.
Besides, he's a guest host on Fox Sports Radio, which is all you need to know about where his head is.A man falls in love through his eyes, a woman through her ears. - Woodrow Wyatt

I must say, that when I did go to Lambeau this year, tailgating outside was great and for the most part the packer fans were great. Inside the place was a different story though, many more j@ck@sses, but it was the Milwaukee fan base that had the tickets for those games and I've heard they are worse than the Green Bay fan base.

Los,
what is this about you getting POed when you watch Milwaukee fans at packer games? I'm from Milwaukee. I'm a pretty clean, classy person (as is MANY of Milwaukeeans). Sure, Milwaukee fans may be a LITTLE roudy as oppose to the Green Bay area fans, but what do you expect? Our city is the number one in Wisconsin. We have more entertainment/lime light/night life, etc, etc than Green Bay residents. Of course we may run the risk of being a little more CRUNK than our more northerners are. All packer fans in Green Bay have is Lambeau Field, and a few other Packer -related things. That's all. You couldn't possibly expect those folks to know REAL partying, do ya? Here in Milwaukee, we have MULTIPLE sites of entertainment: Milwaukee Bucks basketball team, Milwaukee Brewers baseball team, Admirals ice hockey team, Milwaukee Wave/Wave United soccer teams, Potowatomi Bingo Casino (and a few more to be built), Pettit Ice Center, Summer Fest, African World Festival, Indian Festival, Greek Fest, Irish Fest, IMAX, Mayfair mall, Grand Ave Mall, Brookfield Square, South Ridge Mall, multiple movie theaters, EXCITING night clubs (that's way many of the packer players -during the regular season -tend to always come to Milwaukee during their free time...they know where the REAL action is.
So, don't try to defame us Milwaukeeans. There's nothing bad about us. If you think we're so bad, go to Philadelphia (bigger milwaukee), where they'll boo ya in a second, lassBonoSugaRay IS Betamethasone Dunkin
