    Welcome to the board!

Quick questions: Is that you, BWill? Does your screen name refer to the fact that you need more money to feed yourself and your children?

If that is you, BWill, then get your azz in camp!

Williams needs to get real. He was arguably the weakest link in the secondary on one of the NFL's worst pass defenses last year. If he can't hack it in that situation, then who is he going to start for? It's not like teams are currently lining up with trade offers for him. I think that he will make an excellent nickleback for us - he's got decent coverage and tackling skills.

You realize what he wants is to be a starter? He wants to start this year, so he can get paid the big bucks, when he is a FA next offseason. Not much we can do for him there. We aren't gonna bench smoot or winfield.

I think it is that he knows he had a down year last year as a starter and realizes a down year as a starter and a year at nickel back, isn't the way to enter FA and get the big bucks as a starter somewhere else.

Again, there isn't much we can do for him, especially when he isn't asking for a trade. I think he is just being lazy and waiting until TC to come in, becuase we can start fining him if he skips TC. At least I hope that is all that is going on.

Yeah, that is the one I remember reading back then and assumed he was signed. But I have read recently a couple articles stating that he apparently didn't sign it. I guess it isn't that big of a deal because if he hasn't yet signed it, he will in the next few days, so we can't reduce it.

Here is one article that says it, from 2-3 weeks ago.

I also am pretty sure I read it on either KFAN or VU.

Re: Expect to hear that B-will has finally signed his tender

A quote from williams agent that sounds good for us:

"Brian chose not to attend," Feagan said. "He is back home in North Carolina working out and spending time with his young daughter who he never has a chance to see during the season. He will be ready for training camp."

    Hope this is true.
