Definitely, I remember reading the articles when he left the Cards to enlist. Another person who was willing to back up what they believed in

I'm sad to to here this. I recall reading about him enlisting. But I'm sad when I here about any of our young boys or girls lost thier life's over there. I was a young teenager when we lost our boys in Nam. This War is starting to remind me alot like it was back then. I was to young then and to old now to serve. I'm proud of all that of them that serve. :salute:

im not sad about it, i like to look at the positive. He did more in his 30 some years than most do in their entire life. He was in the nfl, a very hard task to accomplish, also he was an Army Ranger, another amazing task and he gave up a life of luxary to fight for what he beleived in. I am proud of him and all those who serve. So my best wishes go to his famnily and his brother who is still serving. stay strong
Sometimes I like to think there is more to life than being you know. . . really really good looking.

Sad story, but very inspirational. This guy could be sitting here in America rolling in millions of dollars and playing golf. Instead, he pursued a lifelong dream to be in Special Ops and fight for his country. In a time where "patriotism" is being questioned and re-defined depending on your politics, this kid sacrificed his life and career for his country. Bless his soul from a proud American.

Some people spend an entire lifetime wondering if they made a difference. Pat Tillman didn't have that problem.

Also I heard the Cards were going to retire his number and name a plaza by the stadium after him.

My thoughts and prayers are with his family and those who served with him.
