Thread: Even though we lost today..

it still makes me excited about what our team is capable of next season! If we can get this far with so many injuries, a Moss that is not 100%, Culpepper having a break out season and most of all.. Burleson stepping up to be a solid #2 reciever! Just imagine having all of our starting linemen back, a 2 tight end combination of Kleinsasser and Wiggins and the Draft! It will be a long offseason but we still have this site to keep us Viking fans together!

i agree. way to show opptimism. :thumbright: this off season will be a big one depending on how the vikes personel approach it. nyone know the exact date 4 the FA.

I am optimistic about next season too. I hope we are willing to make some moves and spend some $$$

For that to happen better hope we have a new owner by draft time next year. I don't have much hope that Red will spend any money.

However I am optimistic as well GQ At least we went to the playoffs this year and made some noise. :thumbleft:

This will be an exciting offseason for us for many reasons. The draft and FA, and possible trades. We have a ton of money and will have to pay someone a huge contract, just to meet the league minimum. I can't wait to see who that is, hopefully it is julian peterson. Then we also have too many RB's and one that we should trade. We will more than likely trade bennett, so that will be interesting to see what we get for him. Then we have the draft, my favorite 2 days of the entire football year. We should get at least an extra pick for bennett so that will make draft day interesting, with the possiblity of trading up. Also throw in the new ownership possibility. Hopefully red will sell the team to glenn taylor, which has been recently rumored. Lots of things to look forward to this offseason. I can't wait for the draft already!
