    SKOL!
    To each his own...

I'll disagree with you on the following counts/players...

To my knowledge, Garrett Mills has never been used as a FB type.
On the other hand, Jeff Dugan has played both FB and TE.
Not the flashiest player in the bunch, I agree, but he's more versatile than Mills (who has had trouble staying healthy to boot).
And for some bizarre reason, the Vikings won almost every game they played last season where Dugan was active for the game.
So replace Mills at FB with Dugan.
Mills might stick at TE, then again, he might not.

At safety, I know a lot of people on a different Vikings board are very high on free agent Colt Anderson.
Could he push Eric Frampton out the door?
Also, I had read reports prior to OTAs that apparently the coaching staff is very high on Husain Abdullah and think he could give Tyrell Johnson a run for his money for the starting safety spot.
So at the very least, I think Abdullah at least moves up to 2nd string on your depth chart, with the rookie Sanford moving down to 3rd string.

Of course at QB, you are ignoring the obvious issue of Brett Favre.
If he signs, will the Vikings keep 4 QBs on the roster, or will they release or trade either Booty or Jackson?

I think you are foolish to think that Bobby Wade will not be on the roster.
The real question is, do the Vikings go with 5 or 6 WRs, and who gets voted off the island?
Jaymar Johnson is still practice squad eligible, though I agree with you in hoping he makes it to the 53 man roster.
Will the coaching staff finally run out of patience with Aundrae Allison, who has shown flashes but has yet to make a real impact?

    So, here's my wacko predictions....

    Favre signs.
Vikings let QB situation in camp play itself out, seeing how the other three perform.
If Booty stinks the joint up, he's out.
Otherwise, he could be legitimate future #1/#2/#3 material.
If Jackson performs well, Vikes try to re-sign him to an extension at a bargain basement price (strictly backup QB money).
If they re-sign Jackson, they try to trade Booty for a 5th-7th round pick, otherwise they cut him.
If they can't re-sign Jackson, they try to trade him.
Failing that, they cut him (assuming Booty looks OK in camp).
There's an outside shot they keep 4 QBs, but I wouldn't bet too heavily on it.

Don't count on either Ian Johnson or Albert Young making the team as the #3 RB.
Harvin will get some carries as the #3 RB, and both Johnson and Young can still be signed to the practice squad and called up in the event of an injury to Peterson or Taylor.
Only keeping two RBs on the roster opens up a spot for either keeping 6 WRs, or 4 QBs, or maybe even a kickoff specialist guy like Taylor Melhaff.

Jeff Dugan remains as a hybrid backup FB/TE type.
Garrett Mills may not make the team (which again, could open up a spot for that 6th WR/4th QB).

I haven't a clue as to who the #4 and #5 DEs will be among Udeze, Grigsby and Jayme Mitchell, but don't count out Mitchell.
Actually, I wouldn't be too surprised to see Udeze be the starting DE opposite Allen, and maybe Edwards or Robison rotate in on passing downs.

I think Berrian, Rice, Wade and Harvin are locks at WR.
The final one/two spots will come down to Allison/Reynaud/Johnson.
I don't think Glenn Holt makes the team.

It will be interesting to see how well Charles Gordon has recovered from his injury.
He might start out the season on the PUP (Physically Unable to Perform) list, delaying when the Vikings have to make the call on his future.
Benny Sapp actually played pretty well as a nickel last season.
Marcus McCauley had better step it up in camp or risk being cut.
I suspect we will either see Gordon or McCauley being the odd man out by November, if not earlier.
Again, we'll have to see how Gordon is healing/healed and what injuries if any occur in camp.

I don't think you are going to see the Vikings carry 9 OL on the 53 man roster.
Not sure if Daniels will be eligible for the practice squad again this year, but Radovich certainly will be.
Barring injuries, I think one of these two will not be on the 53 man roster (and I'm guessing it will be Daniels).

I have always thought that Mills might turn into a serious threath as a tight end in the passing game. He has the speed and quickness, soft hands, and great route running skills. I hoped that he would replace Visanthe Shiancoe in the near future, but that was before last season. I believe that Visanthe will be a solid starter this season.

Back to Mills, he actually has played fullback in college. He played various positions in college, and it's funny that you mention Dugan is more versatile than Mills, cause I'm damn shure he is not.

Mills has played tight end, fullback, wide receiver, and even returned punts in college. He set an NCAA record in the 2005 season with 1,235 yards receiving (on 87 receptions), which is the most reception yards by a tight end in a single season. Mills is more agile, much faster, has better hands and route running skills. The only thing which Dugan is much better at, is blocking.

At safety, I know a lot of people on a different Vikings board are very high on free agent Colt Anderson.

I like Colt Anderson, and he almost made the roster. The problem was, who was I going to cut?

Taylor Melhaff was also a player that I wanted to keep on the roster. I like Ian Johnson... A LOT. And I hope we keep him on the roster. Imagine if CT and AD went down, then we would be in big time trouble.

I haven't a clue as to who the #4 and #5 DEs will be among Udeze, Grigsby and Jayme Mitchell, but don't count out Mitchell.

    This... I agree with

If you expand the poll to include coaching I will have something to vote for.
