Simmer.
You really take this guy seriously?
After analyzing all 32 rosters and leaving several messages with GMs, I'm more prepared than ever to present our latest power rankings. I'm also putting together a nice Powerpoint presentation if anyone's interested.
I'll be back later to offer explanations for my selections. Have a wonderful afternoon. And feel free to offer your own power rankings.

Count me out Mr. Skidmark. I would prefer to watch the actual games to see where we rank.Although I am one who prefers a low preseason ranking to a high one. Much easier to live up to expectations. And more likely to have more pleasant surprises than unpleasant.

Re: ESPN's Matt Mosly Rankings
lol. ranking us 30th just because of our QB? our running game & defense alone is enough to get us ranked 20-25th :P

Re: ESPN's Matt Mosly Rankings
That ranking forgets that teams with superior defenses score points. How many non-offensive TDs did the Bears score last year ?
And I think our defense can be that good this year.
Who knows how good AP will be ?
The opposing defenses will have to stack the box to prevent Chester Taylor and AP from going nuts up the middle, and that makes Tarvaris look a lot better.
Like I said, 9-7 and we are way better than about 12 teams.

Re: ESPN's Matt Mosly Rankings
Like I have said in previous posts ... I think we are better than this, but it does not make this guy a jerk because he lists his 32 teams and has us on the low in. Hell, we picked 7th in the draft ... that means right there that 25 teams were better than us last year ... and now with an unproven QB while a handful of teams people at least THINK got better (Detroit for example), I can see why someone would have us in the 30 spot. I think it is a little low, but what did you expect? We are a team with no proven WR's, no proven QB, a coach who looked a little stagnant on offense last year and lost his defensive "genius," a lack of pass rush which kills our pass defense, suspect returning special teams and in the division with the NFC Champs. I think it would be a little much to think analysts would be running around saying "The Vikes are going to the Super Bowl!"
