    Esera Tuaolo jinxs Vikings again

    http://outsports.com/jocktalkblog/2008/12/22/esera-tuaolo-jinxs-vikings-again/

My headline is a bit ironic. Before Sunday’s Atlanta Falcons at Minnesota Vikings game, Esera Tuaolo sang the National Anthem. Tuaolo, who came out as gay in 2002, lives in Minnesota and played for the Vikings. He also played for the Atlanta Falcons and was on the field in January 1999 when the Falcons stunned the Vikings, 30-27, to win the NFC Championship Game. The Falcons also won again Sunday, giving them a playoff spot and denying the Vikings one for now. If I was Atlanta, I would have Tuaolo somewhere in the building any time they play the Vikings.

You know what, this guy is truly a nice guy and a class act.
His sexuality is not an issue and that author is a friggin jerkoff for needing to mention it.
    Tasteless and disgusting.

His version of the Anthem was insanely good.

    End of discussion.

He was good and I don't believe in jinxs. I believe in fumbles are inexcusable.

    acutally, i beg to differ.
The article was posted in a gay sports website,
I think it would therefore be relevant, not necessary to mention, but I dont see it as tasteless just because of where it was written, the writers also probably gay.

    His version was adequate.
He has a great voice, but I really dislike people who monkey around with the song.
I absolutely understand that it is a difficult song to sing, but that's part of the beauty of it.
If you can't sing it as written, don't take the gig.

As for the loss, I blame you for wussing out on the tailgating.

    =Z=

Thanks to Josdin for the awesome sig!

He has absolutely nothing to do with why we lost or won.
It is down to the players executing on the field.
    No excuses why we lost.
We didn't get it done, period.
    No such thing as jinxes.
You get the job done or you lose.
The players who come on this site, and I know that they do, have to ask themselves why they didn't get it done.
They have to ask themselves why I didn't just fall on the ball instead of running with it.
They need to stop looking for a flag everytime someone bumps them and get themselves in position to make the catch coming to them.
Am I running the route correctly or as best I can.
Can I work on my throws to my receivers.
Can I slide for a change instead of almost getting my head knocked off.
Little things add up to wins.
These things must add up to getting as close to perfection as you can be.
Can the coaching staff get better at calling plays?
Can we be fired up as we come on to the field and maintain that fire throughout the game?
This week needs to be a reevalution of the team.
Get your focus back team and we win easily Sunday.
