i haven't seen or heard anything anywhere at all yet. We need him, the Big 10 Defensive player of the year.

I'm not really worried about it. I expect to see him signed in a few days tops. Look at the situation. He will be playing for a team that has a good shot at a super bowl run, he will probably start most of the season on a pretty good defense, he will be playing for a team that should be good for years down the road (due to the young talent), and the Vikings have done a fantastic job with signing players thus far. Aren't you glad when your reading all these story's about contract holdouts and players asking to be cut/traded and there isn't one about a Viking?(well, I suppose Chavous and B-Will, but both are in camp and training now so they don't count :wink: :lol: ) I say it's still a little early to get worked up about.

Its frustrating its not confirmed completed but this is not a huge concern...yet. I don't know what the hold up is but it doesn't sound like there is really a problem and I'd be very suprised if he's not in camp by the middle of the week.

i sure hope they are both in camp tomorrow, im taking the day off to go to mankato and tape the practices. also does anyone know if smoot is practicing?
