    A year ago, the first-round draft pick (No. 18 overall) was a holdout before signing a five-year contract 10 days into training camp.
    i dont like rookies who hold out..

    take your money, then have a good year, then renegotiate, erg that makes me mad.. pompous rookies

    the agent isnt holding a gun to his head.. fire him and get a new one, caus it makes the player look like a jerk.

    i hate players that go on holdout. i'd never keep a player that went on holdout, unless he and i both knew they deserved more. but there is no way to know if a rookie deserves more.

    I agree, if your a rookie you should at least pretend it's not about the money and prove you can actually play first.

    i would tell a coach, i'll take w/e amount you will give me. (not like i'm going to starve or skim by on my plasma screen tv bills).

    whatever you need to give to me, so that you can give more money to other players.. if a bunch of realy good players did that.. there would be the untimate team. a team in it for winning, not money.
