    Enzyte for Childress

Is it just me or does Childress seem miserable in every press conference. It's just kind of depressing......even favre wasn't that quiet and monotonous

Does it really matter what he does in a press conference?

    No...

    Off the field?
    Absolutely...

What coaches do and say off the field is often what endears a fan base to a coach and a team (though winning helps too).
With a fan base desperately trying to hold a team in MN, Chilly could be doing more to try to win over the media and fan base in MN to help the overall organization get the support it needs from the state.

I disagree. Childress' job is coaching and personnel issues. The promotions and Public Relations department is what will get the fans excited. They've started that for the time being, by renaming the field while leaving the rest of the [s]dump[/s] dome
the same name as before. He has already said he's happy to be here, and i'm sure if the media thought it was worth asking about, they'd talk about what it's like to have a guy like AP on the team.

    Enzyte?

I don't think they mean happiness when they say "male enhancement."

So you want him to go out there and be something he isn't in an effort to win the fan base over?
Comeon my friend, that rabid news crew up there would see through that in a minute.

Besides, using your rationale, the Pats shouldn't have any fans.

    Adequately articulated my friend.

The Browns didn't, with the same coach... because he didn't win there... When you win, you can do anything you want, winning cures all.

Like it or not, the coach is often the face of the franchise to the media.
We can all cry about how things "should" be handled by the PR guys etc, but that is reality.

As to what Chilly's limitations are?
    I don't know.
Maybe he can't, maybe he can, probably he can do more.
I believe it should be an effort to do more.

Maybe he should be more exciting like some of the past coaching greats.
